Présentation : Total Gabon specializes in the research, extraction, and production of crude oil.
Net sales break down by family of products as follows:
- crude oil (99.3%): 28 million barrels produced in 2008;
- natural gas (0.3%): 34 million m3 sold;
- other (0.4%).
At the end of 2008, the group was operating one mine field for research and exploration (11,739 km2) and one in operation (2,180 km2, with 1,319 km2 under concessions, 726 km2 under exclusive operation authorization, and 136 km2 with operation permits).
Export accounts for more than 95% of net sales.
