- iron (27.5%): 171.5 Mt produced in 2009;
- aluminum (25.3%): 8.8 Mt of alumina and 3.8 Mt of aluminum produced;
- coal and uranium (10.8%): 140.1 Mt of coal produced;
- copper (7.7%): 804.7 Mt produced;
- diamonds and industrial minerals (7.1%): diamonds (14 million carats produced), titanium dioxide pigments (1,147 Kt) and borate (424 Kt);
- other (16.4%): gold, silver, zinc and molybdenum.
Net sales break down geographically as follows: Europe (17%), China (24.3%), North America (23.1%), Japan (13.5%), Asia (13.2%), Australia and New Zealand (3.1%) and other (5.8%).
